I have not yet wrote about our trip, bits and pieces of it yes, but not in full. I figured since it is 6 months away I should explain our wonderful adventures that we have planned. It all started with me meeting the man who would balance my craziness. We are truly a great balance for each other! I never would have thought I would find such a perfect match, but I luckily have. That was proven when I went to him with my crazy idea of leaving the SD and living in a ski town. I had a feeling he might be on board seeing that he has already done that twice. He loved it!! We decided that we would start saving and move to Jackson hole WY November of 2012. I went along with that idea for a while but then my imagination ran wild and I thought what if we took a trip to Europe before we move to Wyoming. My selling point was Oktoberfest(beer), how fun would it to travel around for a month and a half. I received another YES!! The next idea was, let’s camp our way up to my parents house in WA from San Diego. I knew this one would be an easy sell considering he is my Parks Ranger and LOVES to camp. Now this last idea I thought was really going to be shot down, by Mikey and my dad, our lease is up at the end of March and if we go month to month we have to pay an extra 300, so my grand idea was that we leave April to camp our way up to my parents beach house in Manzanita Oregon and live there for 4 months till we fly to Europe. I could not believe how excited everyone was about this one!! I am starting to think my crazy ideas might not be so crazy. So, here is the time line, April we leave San Diego and camp up to Oregon, we are thinking about 3 to 4 weeks (I have another crazy plan for a camper or VW bus but that will be another post). We will then be living in Manzanita from May to September; we hope to be working during this time! Next we will drop Tinka (our dog) off at my parents house in Washington and fly to Europe (stay tuned for destinations), after we return the end of October we will be picking up Tink and move to Jackson hole to live for a year. It sounds like such an adventure when I write it all out!! I can’t believe that we are really doing it!! I will write all about our planning process so stay tuned
